Welcome to my website! This website is a compilation of my artwork from a class I took named Drawing and Painting, as well as work from outside of school and an Art History class

Artist statement

I’ve loved art since I was a little girl. I could sit there and Draw for hours if I could. My dad fed into my art obsession by buying my first set of markers. Since then every year in school I decided to take an art class. As I got older I got more into painting. After that, my favorite medium to work with is Acrylic paint. However, through this class, I finally got to work with oil paint and discovered that I like the medium. My favorite piece I made this year would have to be the Chalk Pastel Portrait. I enjoyed spending time blending and accurately color matching to the reference picture. I find that the projects I enjoy most are the ones I feel I have all the time in the world to finish. I felt like this with that piece. I feel that I can most improve on my time management. This year has taught me alot about my strengths and weakness and I am on the way to improvement.
